Free football games in your browser
Want to play football for free with nothing to install? Refoot runs right in your browser — on PC or mobile — and is 100% free. It is arcade button football, easy to start and addictive to keep playing.
Why play in the browser
- No mandatory download: open the site and start playing.
- Works on Android, iPhone and desktop.
- You can install it as an app (PWA) for full screen, if you want.
- Free and available in 3 languages (PT/EN/ES).
Every mode, nothing to pay
This is not a demo: the whole game is open from the first minute.
| Mode | What it is |
|---|---|
| World Cup | 48 national teams, group stage and knockouts, with playable shootouts. |
| Online Ranked | Worldwide matchmaking against real players, across five divisions (Bronze to Diamond). |
| Match vs CPU | Four difficulty levels, all unlocked from the start. |
| 2 Players | Two people on the same device, old-school style. |
| With friends | Private room via friend code. |
| Training | Guided step by step, or free practice where you pick the opponent’s strength. |
| Penalties vs CPU | Just the shootout, to drill your finishing. |
| Spectate | The AI plays itself — handy for studying angles. |
Actually free — and what that means
There is no paywall halfway through: the modes, the World Cup and ranked play are all available without paying.
The free account uses Google or Discord so your squad is saved to the cloud and your progress follows you across devices.
Will it run on your device?
If it opens a browser, it runs. Refoot is deliberately light and adjusts graphics quality automatically to what the device can handle:
- Android and iPhone — in the browser or installed as an app (PWA).
- Windows, Mac and Linux — any modern browser.
- No app store — no Play Store or App Store needed.
- Three languages — Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Different from traditional football games
Instead of simulating an 11-vs-11 match with heavy graphics, Refoot leans into the charm of button football: fast, casual and strategic. It is the perfect kickabout for short matches — and light enough to run on any device.
What keeps players around is not the graphics: it is the squad. Your buttons have names, ages, attributes and a history. They grow, get injured, retire and become legends. After a few weeks you are not defending a generic team — you are defending yours.
